Sloan Gordon, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Sloan Gordon is a podiatric surgeon practicing in Houston, Texas. He has been in private practice since 1983. He is Chief of the Podiatry Section, Department of Surgery, Memorial Hermann Hospital Southwest and is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Gordon is Board Certified in Wound Care by the American Academy of Wound Management and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review.

Born in New York City, Dr. Gordon was educated at St. John's University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology. He went on to the New York School of Podiatric Medicine, completing his medical training in podiatry. This was followed by a Residency at the West Haven VA/Yale University Hospital System in New Haven, Connecticut.

Dr. Gordon is well published, a frequent contributor to Podiatry Management online, and a national lecturer on Wound Care and Skin Grafting for coverage of Diabetic problems. His interests include Diabetic Foot Infections, Reconstructive Ankle and Foot Surgery, Arthroscopy, Endoscopy and Laser Surgery.

He is married, with three children and enjoys such hobbies as traveling and photography.
